Study volume and burnout: what am I still missing?

I understand the broad rule for study volume and burnout, but I still hesitate when two options seem reasonable. I know I need to focus on the number of questions that can still be completed with attention and honest remediation. I also catch myself counting exhausted questions as productive work. Which cue would you use to break the tie?

The most useful starting point is the number of questions that can still be completed with attention and honest remediation. If that is not clear, slow down before comparing the answer choices.

I would keep the practice narrow: track where reasoning quality drops and set the daily volume below that point. That gives you something observable to review after the set.

A common trap is counting exhausted questions as productive work. Naming that pattern before practice can make it easier to catch in the moment.

Try explaining the decision out loud in one sentence. The explanation should connect directly to the number of questions that can still be completed with attention and honest remediation.

I would bring this to RN review with one example where the framework worked and one where it still felt ambiguous.
