How are you practicing delegation and assignment this week?

I want a focused way to practice delegation and assignment without adding another resource. My plan is to compare two clients and explain which nursing judgment must remain with the RN. I will review whether I used client stability, predictable outcomes, scope, and the need for fresh assessment and note whenever I was memorizing task lists without checking whether the client condition has changed. What would you add or simplify?

The most useful starting point is client stability, predictable outcomes, scope, and the need for fresh assessment. If that is not clear, slow down before comparing the answer choices.

I would keep the practice narrow: compare two clients and explain which nursing judgment must remain with the RN. That gives you something observable to review after the set.

A common trap is memorizing task lists without checking whether the client condition has changed. Naming that pattern before practice can make it easier to catch in the moment.

Try explaining the decision out loud in one sentence. The explanation should connect directly to client stability, predictable outcomes, scope, and the need for fresh assessment.

I would bring this to RN review with one example where the framework worked and one where it still felt ambiguous.
